Age Criteria
The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 27 years. The crucial cut-off date for determining the age limit will be 04/03/2025.
The upper age limit is also relaxable for Government Servants, including serving CISF personnel in the rank of Constable (GD), Constable (Fire), and Constable (Tradesmen):
- Upto 40 years for General, EWS, and OBC candidates.
- Upto 45 years for SC and ST candidates.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots and the 2002 communal riots in Gujarat.
The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- The candidate should have passed Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a
recognized Board. - Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matriculation/10th class pass for service under Central Government.
- Driving License : The candidate should have a valid driving License in the following type of vehicles :-
a) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle;
b) Light Motor Vehicle;
c) Motor cycle with gear; - Experience : 03 years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle or Light
Motor Vehicles and Motor Cycle with gear.For Ex-Servicemen
- Matriculation or equivalent or Army 1st class certificate or equivalent of Air Force and
Navy.
Mode Of Selection
Recruitment will be conducted in the following stages:
a) PET/PST, Documentation & Trade Test
b) OMR/CBT mode written examination, which will be bilingual (i.e., available in both Hindi and English languages).
c) Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME)

How to apply online
Application Submission:
- Applications must be submitted online at the official CISF website.
- The last date to submit the application is 04/03/2025 (2359 Hrs).
Documents to Upload:
Photograph:
- A recent color passport-size photograph.
- The photo should be not more than 3 months old.
- File format: JPEG (20 KB to 50 KB).
- Dimensions: 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- The photo must be without cap and spectacles and both ears visible.
- Date must be printed on the photo. Applications without the date or with a blurred photo will be rejected.
Signature:
- Scanned signature.
- File format: JPEG (10 KB to 20 KB).
- Dimensions: 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
- Applications with illegible signatures will be rejected.
Documents:
- Scanned copies of documents for age and educational qualification.
- File format: PDF (max size 1 MB).
Post Preference:
Only one online application is needed to apply for both Constable/Driver and Constable/DCPO posts.
In the application, you must give your 1st and 2nd preferences for the posts.
Example:
