6. Educational Qualifications
- Technical Assistant (Diploma Trades): Diploma (3-year full-time) in relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks + 2 years of relevant experience.
- B.Sc. Candidates (Computer Science, Multimedia, Physics, Aircraft Maintenance): B.Sc. Degree with 60% marks + 1-year experience OR 1-year professional qualification.
- Higher qualifications (B.E/B.Tech, M.Sc.) are NOT eligible.
7. Selection Process
Candidates will undergo the following selection stages:
1️⃣ Trade Test (Qualifying in Nature)
- Practical skill test in the relevant discipline.
- Candidates who pass the Trade Test will be eligible for the written exam.
2️⃣ Written Examination (Final Merit List Based on This)
- Total Questions: 200
- Duration: 3 Hours
- Exam Mode: OMR-Based/CBT (Objective Type)
- Subjects Covered:
- Paper-I (Mental Ability Test) – 50 Questions (100 Marks) (No Negative Marking)
- Paper-II (General Awareness & English Language) – 50 Questions (150 Marks) (Negative Marking: 1 Mark per Wrong Answer)
- Paper-III (Relevant Subject Knowledge) – 100 Questions (300 Marks) (Negative Marking: 1 Mark per Wrong Answer)
3️⃣ Document Verification & Medical Examination
- Final selection based on written exam merit.
8. Salary, Benefits & Perks
- Basic Pay: ₹35,400 per month (with annual 3% increment).
- Dearness Allowance (DA): As per Govt. rates.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per rules.
- Medical Benefits: CSIR Medical Scheme & Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
- Leave Policy: 12 Casual Leave, 10 Sick Leave, 30 Earned Leave per year.
