Age Criteria
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years

Age Proof:
- The Matriculation (Class X) Mark Sheet issued by a Board of Secondary Education is the only acceptable document to support age.
- If the date of birth is not mentioned in the Matriculation (Class X) Mark Sheet, the admit card or passing certificate of the Board can be used to verify the date of birth.

Mode Of Selection
- Junior Operator & Junior Attendant (Post Codes 101-123, 201-204):
- Selection: Computer Based Test (CBT) + Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT)
- CBT Details: 100 questions (1 mark each) in 120 minutes.
- Minimum Cut-Off: 35% in each section of CBT, 40% overall (relaxed for SC/ST).
- SPPT: Qualifying nature; candidates declared ‘Fit’ or ‘Unfit’.
- Junior Business Assistant (Post Codes 205-208):
- Selection: CBT + Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
- CPT: Basic MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Candidates must complete 20 out of 30 commands.
- Minimum Cut-Off: 35% overall in CBT (relaxed for SC/ST).
- CBT Structure:
- Junior Operator: Professional knowledge, General Science, Numerical Abilities, Reasoning, General Awareness.
- Junior Attendant: Numerical Abilities, Reasoning, General Awareness.
- Junior Business Assistant: Numerical Abilities, Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language skills.
- Other Points:
- No negative marking in CBT.
- CBT in English and Hindi.
- SPPT/CPT is a qualifying test and is performed after CBT.
- Merit list based on CBT scores, with a tie-breaking rule (age).
- Final Selection:
- Candidates qualifying CBT, SPPT/CPT, and document verification will be included in the merit list.

Application Period:
- Apply online between 03.02.2025 and 23.02.2025. No other application methods will be accepted.
Before Registration:
- Documents to scan:
- Passport-sized photo (4.5cm x 3.5cm)
- Signature (in black ink)
- Left thumb impression (on white paper with black/blue ink)
- Handwritten declaration (in English) with the text:
“I, _______ (Name), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid.”
- Keep the scanned files ready for upload. Ensure your personal email and mobile are active throughout the process.

Registration Process:
- Go to the IOCL website: www.iocl.com, navigate to the recruitment section, and click “Click here to Apply Online.”
- Register by providing your name, contact details, and email to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- You can save your details by clicking “Save and Next.” Verify and modify them before submitting.
- Upload your scanned photo, signature, thumb impression, and declaration.
- Review and submit the application. Proceed to payment.
Application Fee:
- Rs. 300 for general candidates (non-refundable).
- SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from the fee.
- Payment can be made via Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallet.

- Photograph: Recent color photo with a light background (20KB–50KB, dimensions: 200 x 230 pixels).
- Signature: Black ink on white paper (10KB–20KB, dimensions: 140 x 60 pixels).
