Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality:
- Must be an Indian citizen, a Tibetan refugee (came before 1st Jan 1972), or a person of Indian origin from specific countries (Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Zambia) intending to settle in India.
2. Character:
- Must have good character. Those dismissed from government service or convicted of serious crimes are ineligible.
3. Marital Status:
- Males with more than one wife or females married to a man with a living wife are ineligible.
4. Physical Fitness:
- Must be physically and mentally healthy. A medical certificate will be required.
5. Age Limit:
Minimum age: 18 years as of 1st January 2025 (born before 1st Jan 2007).
Maximum age varies by category:
- Male Unreserved/EWS: 37 years
- Female Unreserved/EWS: 40 years
- BC/EBC (Male & Female): 40 years
- SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years
- OH (locomotor): 47 years
Age relaxation of 5 years for those employed with the Central Government or Bihar Government.
Age Relaxation
- Only one age relaxation can be claimed.
- Bihar residents may get age relaxation but need to provide the required certificates.

Educational Qualifications

Note: Candidates possessing qualifications higher than 12th pass shall be disqualified.
