• Position Title: Field Supervisor (Safety) – Contract Basis

• Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (Initial 2 years, extendable up to 5 years)

• Pay Scale: ₹23,000 – ₹1,05,000 (Basic Pay ₹23,000 + Allowances)

• Maximum Age: 29 Years (as on 25-03-2025)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 Years

6. Educational Qualifications

• Full-time Diploma in Engineering in one of the following disciplines:
  • Electrical / Electrical (Power) / Electrical & Electronics / Power Systems Engineering / Power Engineering (Electrical) / Civil / Mechanical / Fire Technology & Safety
  • Minimum 55% Marks Required
• Higher Qualifications (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech) are NOT allowed.

7. Experience Requirement

• Minimum 1 Year post-qualification experience in Safety Implementation at Work Sites.

8. Selection Process

Candidates will undergo the following selection stages:

1️⃣ Screening Test (Written Exam)

• Duration: 1 Hour
• Total Questions: 75
• Exam Sections:
  • Technical Knowledge: 50 Questions (Diploma-level)
  • Aptitude Test: 25 Questions (English, Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics)
• Qualifying Marks:
  • General/EWS/OBC: 40%
  • SC/ST: 30%
• No Negative Marking

2️⃣ Document Verification & Medical Examination

• Candidates must meet POWERGRID’s medical fitness standards.

9. Salary, Benefits & Perks

• Basic Pay: ₹23,000 per month (with annual 3% increment).
• Perks: 35% of Basic Pay.
• Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA): As per Govt. rates.
• House Rent Allowance (HRA): As per rules.
• Medical Benefits:
  • First year: Self only
  • From second year: Self + Family (Spouse & Two Dependent Children)
  • OPD Limit: One Month’s Pay per Year
